LIFE PHILOSOPHY
We are all born with a gift. Getting out of our comfort zone, creating purposeful habits, and embracing failures as learning experiences, moves us toward our GIFT.
Experience
Excited to continue offering my financial services in Glastonbury and Central Connecticut area, I have teamed up with Gateway Financial Partners to bring my clients financial planning and tax planning, while keeping my focus solely on you, my client.
I began my financial career as a tax accountant at Deloitte. After passing the CPA exam (not active) and having spent several years in public accounting, I moved into a role at Cigna as a Financial Analyst. While I gained great experience from those positions, I had confidence that I was meant to be a Financial Advisor. I now have over 20 years of experience as a Financial Advisor and have additionally held the position of Assistant Complex Director. I knew my financial background and accounting degree would be a good fit for that role. I have a strong passion for the stock market, financial analysis, technical analysis, and using my skills to help people invest and manage their assets for their future.
Being a Financial Advisor with a CPA background, I bring some special aspects to the table. I can partner with your CPA in any of your tax planning needs. I understand that wealth can be the key to your financial freedom, but it can also become a tax liability. I can aid in creating a financial plan, that is integrated with your existing tax strategies.
Being a working parent myself, I understand what it is like to spend years creating a great quality of life for your children and family. That is why I want to help you create a roadmap that will allow you to benefit from all those years of hard work, sacrifices, and saving.
My goal as your Financial Advisor will be to know you and your family to the fullest, so every option and strategy we discuss is tailored specifically to your needs, wants, and aspirations. With my services, we will work towards financial freedom so you can have the retirement that you deserve. I will value your input and provide expertise, backed by many years of experience.
I have been an athlete my entire life – playing sports throughout high school and college. After college I continued to play soccer, however starting a family meant switching gears. I trained and became a runner and loved doing long distance races, including marathons. I then decided to get over my fear of water and I learned how to swim so that I could participate in the world’s longest triathlon, Ironman. I do believe in the Ironman Motto “Anything Is Possible.” I am an average athlete and did not believe that completing an Ironman was possible for the average person. It truly is possible for anyone. I am proof. I even completed a few more after my first just to confirm that it was not a fluke! I have hung up the bike in favor of my newfound love for snowboarding and have also become a bit infatuated with the game of golf.
