Hope’s background in financial planning started in the classroom, where she spent several years as a math teacher. During that time, she saw how much confidence can come from truly understanding something, and how frustrating it can be when it is not clearly explained. That experience continues to shape how we work with clients today.
Financial planning is not just about putting recommendations in place. It is about helping you understand what is being done and why it matters. When you can see how the pieces connect, it becomes easier to make decisions and stay consistent over time.
We believe that small, steady actions can lead to meaningful outcomes. Our role is to help you think through your options, bring structure to your financial life, and work through decisions in a way that feels clear and manageable.
Hope Sullivan is a Financial Advisor with a background in education and a focus on helping clients better understand their financial lives.
Before entering the financial services industry, Hope spent several years as a math teacher. Her experience in the classroom shaped the way she approaches financial planning today, with an emphasis on clear communication, thoughtful analysis, and helping clients understand not just what decisions are being made, but why they matter.
Since transitioning into financial planning, Hope has focused on building a comprehensive approach that connects investment management, tax planning strategies, and long-term financial planning. She works closely with clients, helping them think through financial decisions in a way that feels structured and manageable.
Hope earned her CFP® designation in 2025 and holds both a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Master of Arts in Education from SUNY College at Plattsburgh. Her approach is grounded in the belief that small, consistent actions over time can shape meaningful financial outcomes.
At different points in life, new financial questions come up. Sometimes it is just a matter of knowing where to start and having someone help you make sense of it all.
Our approach begins with understanding where you are today and what matters most to you. From there, we can focus on the areas that need attention and build from there.
We understand that every client is unique and has specific needs and preferences. That’s why our onboarding process is tailored to each individual. We prioritize getting to know our clients and building a strong relationship. Our goal is to ensure that every new client feels comfortable and well taken care of. Throughout the entire process, we aim to be a valuable resource for our clients. Although our process varies depending on the client’s unique situation, we follow a general framework. Here is what you can expect from our onboarding process.
We begin by getting to know you. This includes understanding your goals, what is currently in place, and any questions or concerns you may have.
From there, we organize your financial picture and walk through different strategies, explaining how each piece connects and why it matters.
Once a plan is in place, we help you take the next steps and continue to revisit and adjust as your situation evolves.
At the core of our work is a focus on building meaningful relationships. We believe that understanding and valuing your unique perspective is the foundation of effective financial planning.
The people we work with are often looking for more than just answers. They want to understand their finances in a way that feels clear and practical, not overwhelming. They value having someone to talk through decisions with and appreciate an approach that explains not just what is being done, but why it matters.
Many are at a point where financial decisions are becoming more complex. This may come with growing income, running a business, planning for retirement, or balancing multiple priorities at once. Rather than looking for quick fixes, they are looking for a more thoughtful and steady approach.
We tend to work best with those who want to stay engaged in the process and take an active role in their financial decisions. If you are looking for a more personal and educational approach to planning, we would be glad to start a conversation.
