LIFE PHILOSOPHY
Experience
Prior to joining Gateway, I spent time working in Manhattan as a consultant for some of North America’s largest banks. In that role, I specialized in compliance initiatives and the effect of an ever-changing regulatory climate.
After my time in New York, I worked for a Swiss based precious metals company, where I became a specialist in trading precious metals, negotiating agreements with international banks, calculating daily cash forecasts, and managing the challenges of a multinational company.
I earned my B.S. in Economics from the College of Charleston. During my time there, I was involved in the Investment Club, Finance Club, Real Estate Club, and was also awarded with the Angel Oak Scholarship. I also studied abroad at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and the University of Nottingham.
I hold my Series 7, Series 66 (held with LPL Financial), and my insurance licenses for life, accident, and health. In addition, I earned my Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor℠ (APMA®) designation from the College for Financial Planning.
In my free time, I enjoy cooking vegan food, traveling, live music, spending time with family, and competing in basketball leagues. My favorite activity outside of the office is coaching youth basketball, which I have done for over a decade.
